thank god i passed my presentation.... whew! the moment i saw the examiner for my presentation i was like "oh shit..." it was as if the stars aligned for me to fail.... u noe why? cos my presentation topic was essentially an upper gastro topic and guess who came ard? the big boss of surgery who has a reputation for being mean and on top of that? he's an upper GI specialist! he was the first examiner to insist and stop u after 10 minutes after all the rest got their 15-20 mins spill without being cut in previous weeks with other examiners. this is so bloody unfair! but what to do? that's life.... so i had to make a hash of the whole thing, skip a lot of parts, lost my way a bit.... and well, talking to a specialist about his topic really isn't helping either! it's like talking to einstein about his own theory of relativity! one mistake and he'll certainly pick it up and roast me alive.... but he gave me a pass, which is a C equivalent, but who cares, i survived.... can't wait to finish this rotation.... got Bs and As for my ward performance, so i'm happy as well, that's another long story for another day....
2 more weeks to home... can't wait.... when the hell is my interview??? bloody idiots never got back to me.... apparently they're still sorting results.... can't wait to see everyone....=)

Wednesday, May 09, 2007I was just reading through Warren's autobiography on the Nobel site. He had it tough too. He was a graduate of this very school.... was just as blur as i was and probably will be....=p but exception was maybe he's born into the profession unlike me, i brought myself into it.... oh well back to work.... super depressed and angry today....=(
